Hey! Thanks so much to Jenny Lou Bement from Creative Loafing for coming out to all the shows in Charlotte and always writing such great reviews. Here's what she said about Fat Camp! on March 19th:

A complete change in genre, the next band was Fat Camp and boy did they take those that didn’t know them by surprise. Their homosexual party rock is all-in-all hilarious and catchy and while some punk kids were getting down, some looked utterly confused as to what was happening in front of them. I was eating up every moment of it. Regardless, people filed in and out of the room to see what they were hearing and while Philip showed off his bass skills traveling in and out of the audience, Adam rocked out twisting his head to the music and Lee, in a sparkly shirt politely sang lewd songs about masturbation, banana hammocks and Batman’s homosexuality while strumming away at his guitar and exercising his sweet tambourine skills (he gives lessons by the way). Towards the end of the set, people were grinning and shaking their hips. It was a nice breather between all of the rowdy punk, cock rock and hardcore of the night.

Featuring Whatever Brains, NAPS, Lonnie Walker, Birds of Avalon, Veelee, Motor Skills, Gross Ghost, Yardwork, Embarrassing Fruits, Fat Camp, Arbor Myst (Ben Clack formerly of Dark Meat) and the Snails (Featuring Members of Future Islands). Record release show February 10th and 11th at Kings Barricade in Raleigh. Nov 7th we played at New Brookland Tavern in Columbia SC opening for Future Islands and Lonnie Walker. It was cold as hell but a really great time. Future Islands and Lonnie Walker both destroyed. The sound guy at NBT is pretty damn amazing too and all the people there could not have been nicer. Take a look at the video Lee captured on his camera of Future Islands. Fools Brigade & Duo Fest April 2nd!

We did two shows on April 2nd. First we played at Snug Harbor for The Fools Brigade where we played two Replacements covers in the style of Kraftwerk with electronic programming courtesy of our pal Kelly Shane! Then we took the show over to Duo Fest where some pretty amazing bands rocked the house down including Tartufi, 2013 Wolves, The Have & the Have Nots, My Milky Way Arms and Battle Beast.
